Arms Section of Barrackpore Police Commissionerate deals with issue of new license for arms, registration of license, renewal etc. A national database of Arms License (NDAL) has been created in which each arms license is being given a unique ID No. This is being done by Arms Section. Transit License (TL) for carrying of Arms from Rifle Factory, Ishapore is also processed by Arms Section. Apart from this sell order for licensed arms and issuance of No Objection Certificate (NOC) for outside renewals is also handled by Arms Section of Barrackpore Police Commissionerate.
